7 Things You Didn't Know About Windows 7!

Windows 7 is the second latest Windows released and now it's got a bit older. But if you've recently upgraded to Windows 7 you'll notice that it's fairly different from the previous versions of Windows. Perhaps you want to play with it a little bit and explore the exciting new features to make the most out of your Windows!

Here is a list of things which you  probably don't know yet:

1. Shake Desktop Windows!

I'd love to start the list by telling you this cute feature. If you've too many open windows messing up your desktop, this little tip can help you. Go to the window that you want to keep open, click and hold on the title bar of that window. 'Shake' or quickly move your mouse from left to right (or vice versa) and all other open windows will be minimized to the taskbar! Do the same trick to restore those windows.

2. Rename More Than One File/Folder at Once!

This little great new feature in Windows 7 is a really handy one. If you have two or more files or folders and want them to have the same name, select them and press the F2 key. Once done, you'll only need to rename one file/folder and the others one would be renamed automatically having ordered numbers.

3. Change the Quality of Text

You can change the overall quality of text by using the Windows ClearType Text Tuner. Do this by clicking on the Start Button and searching for 'cttune.exe.'

4. Zoom In and Out Easily!

You might be aware of pressing CTRL and then the + or - on your keyboard to zoom in or out in your browser, but using the same trick and replacing the CTRL button with the Windows key instead will open the Magnifier and zoom in the desktop.

5. Windows 7 Window Docking

Press and hold the title bar of the window that you want to be docked, and move your mouse to the left or right of the screen. The window will be shifted to the half left/right of the screen.

6. Easily Share Content Between PCs in your Home!

'Homegroup' is another great feature which helps us to seamlessly share content with other PCs in our home! Homegroup DOES NOT require Bluetooth to be turned on. For more info on how to use it, click here.

7. Aero Peek

Aero Peek is another small feature for navigating a screen which is cluttered with windows. Many of you've already noticed this, but if you're the one who's left, hover over the button at the bottom right corner of the desktop, click on the button if you want to switch to the desktop.
